Quick Start
Step by Step: Assembly

Remove the top cover from the machine. Insert shearband into TD25. Drape the slots in the edges of the shearband over the tabs in the left and right side panels of the machine body.

Slide the tumbler through the front plate until the motor hub protrudes through the cutout at the base of the tumbler. Twist the tumbler slightly to latch it on to the motor hub. Install the tumbler brush; click it into the two clips on the inside of the machine front and back plates.
Step by Step: Operation

Use the handle on the back of the machine to tension the shearband tight against the tumbler. There is no need to provide additional leverage on the handle, hand tightening is sufficient.

Install the top cover on to the trimmer; latch it in place. Slide the tote in along the tote rails. Hold the handle with one hand, retract the knob with the other hand and tilt the machine backwards.

Once tilted backwards, load the TD25 with the product. Load with product. Only fill the tumbler about ½ to ⅔ of the way full. Overfilling the tumbler will lead to a lower quality trim and a slower processing time.

Level the machine to horizontal and install the tumbler end cap snugly in the front face of the machine. Ensure the e-stop is retracted, and start the machine by rotating the timer knob to the desired run time. Use the speed knob to adjust the tumbler speed.

Once the machine is running, it is recommended to check the trim after about 3-5 minutes to make sure the desired trim quality is being achieved with the shearband tension setting. Continue to monitor and check the trim approximately every 5 minutes

The machine will stop automatically after the chosen time has elapsed. Once the product inside the machine has been trimmed for the specified duration, remove the tumbler end cap and tumbler, and deposit the trimmed product into a container of your choosing.
